I’ve been in the publishing production game for a very long time. And I’m outside of the normal chain of business as usual. I don’t work for Harper Collins, or MacMillan, or OUP, or any of the big six four. I DID work for over five years with what is now Elsevier, and I learned and shaped a lot about how information is collected, refined, packaged, marketed, and life-cycle managed. Over the last two and a half decades, well over a half million pages of design and layout have passed through my eyes, my keystrokes and my mouse clicks. I created the paths that much of digital book production now flows over.
I know this business, from conceptualization, productization, presentation, workflow, marketing and production. If you have an idea for a book, but don’t know what to do with it, then contact me. Let’s talk about your idea, and see if it’s got legs.
